Roumers about the internet giant Google coming out with a smartphone a.k.a. Gphone seems coming true. According to sources, Google IS putting its legs in the mobile OS market. Gear up Symbian and Microsoft, Google has got the talents and resources to establish its presence.
Well, as all of us know Google is not a hardware oriented company and is neither interested in manufacturing the device. Information floating on the internet hints about Google working with a Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC to produce a phone with a Google-approved OS.
OS, as it comes now, well Google won’t be that stupid to reinvent the wheel, rather it would take advantage of the Open Source powered Linux OS.
Google already has a host of applications ready which would easily increase its hardware’s worth. Goggle maps are the one getting the max hits. In the age of Wireless networking, Google is well prepared. Google docs, blogs etc, would be available through the smartphone, which would make it the numero one choice, and yeah not to forget the mamoth Google search
One thing that Google should take care of is the pricing, ofcourse people won’t worry about it when it comes to a good product, but an inital offer like the 20/10$ rebate on Google checkout would lure many not so interested people also in.
Great going Google!!!
