It was a bright Saturday evening and I was sipping on my favorite Irani chai(an Irani style Tea - the most famous beverage in Hyderabad) from a road side tea stall. We had just moved into Hyderabad. I and few of my friends who got placed together in Bangalore were transferred here for an upcoming project. Unable to find a cozy apartment for a descent rate we decided to settle for something less. We had just started with our job and I had already spent the first few months salary on my gadgets and lost the rest when we shifted(had to pay for breaking the lease in Bangalore). So that’s how we landed up in that apartment - a cheap deal, which basically means that we had nothing except for the "Four Walls". Still on my tea I was remembering my days in college and the fun that we had. Two of my friends, who got engaged the last year of the college had settled in Hyderabad. They both were working for a different IT company. They were just plain lucky to be together. Generally people in IT industry in India are expected to not to expect to be staying in one place for a long time.
Still with my cutting(’cutting‘ is a term for half a cup of tea, as people in Hyderabad tend to have tea multiple times a day, so instead of having a full cup, people prefer many half cups) and wondering about the next steps that I should be taking in my immediate future, which meant preparing everything from the night’s dinner to finding better grocery stores etc, I saw my roomie coming towards me. "Chai", i asked, intending to buy him a cup of tea. He nodded. "No plan to cook today man, lets got out today somewhere" he said, in low tone as if cooking is the last thing he would have preferred to do to stay alive. "Where?" I sarcastically questioned, ‘coz eating out is what we did the whole week, but deep in my heart even I wasn’t very keen to cook and so was hoping that he would come up with something good. And it was then when the greatest wisdom of King Solomon showered on him and he muttered "Let’s call Zacsu" …
